Our Ministries

Hope Kitchen is a monthly ministry that we take part in that serves a meal to those in need in the community. We serve the second Thursday of each month. If you would like to join in the fun and blessing we receive from this ministry, show up to Hope Kitchen at 5:30pm on the second Thursday, and we will put you to work! If serving people is not your gift, come wash dishes! Clean-up begins around 7:45 and we usually finish around 9:00pm after serving 250-275 meals!

This ministry is the safe alternative for families who want their children to be able to go trick-or-treating and not have to worry about the candy they receive. We decorate our cars (if outside) and our families try to win the trophy (pictured) for best costumes/theme! Not only do we see anywhere from 600-900 people, we get to raffle away a girl's bicycle and a boy's bicycle! It puts us face to costumed face with the people of our community that we want to serve and show the love of Jesus!

The Thanksgiving Basket Ministry grew out of desire to provide families with a meal for the Thanksgiving holiday. We started with a modest goal of 75 baskets and have had to increase that each year! We now set a goal of 350+ baskets and we can't wait to see how God moves in this ministry each year! 

We also hand out a chili dinner for the families that come pick up their basket. The baskets include: Turkey, potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, gravy, rolls, eggs, and a dessert!
